Colour is certainly on trend this season and using a pop of colour in your make up will brighten your face, add interest and accentuate your features.
To help determine which colours best work for you, use the colour wheel below as a guide.
To compliment your eye colour and achieve eyes that “pop,” use colours from the opposite sides of the colour wheel. (those with brown eyes – your eye colour is somewhere around the red and orange area)

These eyeshadows will bring out the colour of your eyes and make a visual contrast as both colours will appear stronger against each other.
If you prefer a neutral eyeshadow, try using a coloured liner across your top lash line instead of the standard black liner. The colour along your lash line will accentuate your eyes and bring out their colour depth.
For coloured eyeliner try
Adding a colour to your lip will certainly brighten up your look. Always lip line first, as this creates a barrier between your lip colour and your lips and helps hold your colour for longer. Always line and fill in all your lips with the lipliner to avoid that look where the only thing left is the outer lip line!
For lips that pop try
When using colour on eyes/lips keep blush neutral and soft. Opt for nude hues and slightly “blushed” colours.
One of the easiest ways to add colour this season is via your nails. Choose a colour that “pops” against your outfit for maximum effect.
