How to stay comfortable and warm on track this winter? A comfy pair of boots , opaque tights and a simple flowy number is the way I do it. I was at Flemington last Saturday and the weather was less than impressive. Stranding in the mounting yard I looked above at the grey clouds and before the horses had a chance to load up in the starter gates the heavens opened.
Leather boots are the one thing that never goes out of fashion. They are stylish and comfortable, chic and sexy. Boots can be dressy, casual, or functional and versatile enough to match most outfits in one’s wardrobe. By simply changing one’s boots, an outfit can be dressed up or dressed down as the occasion requires.
Although some believe that one should suffer for beauty, a good pair of boots should fit comfortably, with good ankle and arch support, especially when at the track all day. Here are my favourites for this winter. Don’t forget however, boots require TLC. To prolong their life span you must brush, clean and condition them. And even though your boots might be awesome as they are it pays to waterproof them as too much water inside the leather can cause unwanted ugly water spots.
